Held on our outdoor wooden wall, this session offers a controlled environment to learn key movement techniques and gain comfort with the gear before heading out onto real ice.

Parents Night Out

Enjoy a night out in Longmont while your kids climb, play, and explore at Climbing Collective! Parent’s Night Out includes both bouldering and rope climbing, plus games and guided challenges with our experienced coaches. It’s a fun, active evening that gives parents time to unwind while kids stay engaged and moving.

Belay Basics
Belay Basics is designed for individuals with little to no rope climbing experience. Throughout the session, participants will gain the knowledge and be able to perform all the skills and techniques needed for top rope belaying. At the completion of the course, you will have the ability to climb and belay for that day only. The next time you come in to climb, you will be required to take our belay test with the front desk staff to receive your official certification.

New Format! 1 day 2 hour clinic: Looking to get started with climbing but not sure where to begin? This two-hour clinic is the perfect introduction to the fundamentals of Bouldering, Rope and Auto Belay climbing. You’ll learn the importance of warming up and cooling down, how to identify and use different hold types, and develop key skills like body positioning, footwork, and how to climb and fall safely.

Learn to Lead
This series is designed for experienced top-rope climbers who want to take their skills to the next level by learning how to lead climb. Over the course of two sessions, you will learn the basics of lead climbing, including proper clipping techniques, rope management, belaying a lead climber, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to practice taking and catching falls under the guidance of our instructors. At the completion of this course you will have the ability to lead climb and lead belay for that day only. The next time you come in to climb, you will be required to take our lead test with the front desk staff to receive your official certification.
