Ice Climbing Experience on the World Cup Ice Wall

Step onto the same ice wall used by World Cup competitors and try ice climbing for yourself!

Whether you’re brand new to the sport or an experienced climber, this guided experience offers the perfect mix of challenge, excitement, and accomplishment. Our expert instructors will introduce you to the fundamentals of ice climbing and provide personalized coaching every step of the way.

Who Can Participate:

• Ages 13 and up

• No prior ice climbing experience required

What’s Provided:

• Crampons

• Ice tools

• Helmets

• Harnesses

• Ice climbing boots (limited sizes available)

Have your own gear? Bring it along!

What to Wear:

• Water-resistant, form-fitting pants (to avoid crampon snags)

• Eye protection – glasses or goggles required

• Gloves and weather-appropriate layers

• Real-time coaching on the ice wall

This clinic is perfect for climbers curious about speed climbing or looking to sharpen their drytooling skills. Advanced Tactics for Figure 4/9 

Tuesday, February 24th, 5:30 - 7:30 pm

Intermediate/Advanced Clinic with Ian Umstead. Take your figure 4/9 skills to the next level with this power-packed clinic designed for experienced drytoolers. If you can already link multiple figure 4/9s without stopping and are comfortable leading while in these positions, this session will help you climb longer, move smoother, and rest smarter on steep terrain. Whether you’re chasing your next D15 or tackling big alpine objectives, this clinic will sharpen your technical prowess and give you the tactical edge for sending the steepest lines with confidence and control.

Intro to Routesetting

Saturday, February 28th, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Interested in setting boulders and learning more about setting? Want to set a boulder at the gym? Join us to learn the ins and outs of Routesetting! Experience our Intro Clinic from Climbing Collective setters. NO experience required!

At the clinic:

  • Learn the basics of routesetting

  • Discussion and guidance on different approaches to set commercial boulders

  • Learn about routsetting as a career

  • Work as a team to set + forerun the full set!

  • Boulders will stay up after the clinic

Belay Basics

Belay Basics is designed for individuals with little to no rope climbing experience. Throughout the session, participants will gain the knowledge and be able to perform all the skills and techniques needed for top rope belaying. At the completion of the course, you will have the ability to climb and belay for that day only. The next time you come in to climb, you will be required to take our belay test with the front desk staff to receive your official certification.

Intro to Bouldering

Our Intro to Bouldering class is the perfect way to jump into the sport and start moving with confidence! In this energizing 2-hour session, you’ll learn everything you need to kick off your climbing journey,

Intro to Climbing

New Format! 1 day 2 hour clinic: Looking to get started with climbing but not sure where to begin? This two-hour clinic is the perfect introduction to the fundamentals of Bouldering, Rope and Auto Belay climbing. You’ll learn the importance of warming up and cooling down, how to identify and use different hold types, and develop key skills like body positioning, footwork, and how to climb and fall safely.

Learn to Lead

This series is designed for experienced top-rope climbers who want to take their skills to the next level by learning how to lead climb. Over the course of two sessions, you will learn the basics of lead climbing, including proper clipping techniques, rope management, belaying a lead climber, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to practice taking and catching falls under the guidance of our instructors. At the completion of this course you will have the ability to lead climb and lead belay for that day only. The next time you come in to climb, you will be required to take our lead test with the front desk staff to receive your official certification.

Before you schedule a session you can choose to meet with your climbing coach for a free 30 min consultation.

This will help you to zero in on your specific goals and get you the results you're looking for. This is not required, communication can also be done over email prior to your session.

Parents Night Out

Fridays | 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Need a real break? Parent's Night Out at Climbing Collective gives your kids 2.5 hours of screen free adventure while you enjoy some time to recharge. They climb, play, explore, and connect with other kids in a fun and active environment. You get the evening you’ve earned, they get an experience that builds confidence and strength. Reserve your spot before it fills.
