  • Welcome! We offer rope climbing (top rope and lead) and bouldering at our Longmont facility and we have bouldering at our Loveland facility.

Bouldering is a type of rock climbing focused on shorter routes, all a safe falling distance from the ground. This means that to boulder you don't need a harness/rope - just a pair of climbing shoes and a can-do attitude! If you've never bouldered before our staff will be happy to show you how to land safely so you can climb with confidence, and if you don't have your own climbing shoes, you can rent a pair of ours. You can certainly get started without any prior knowledge, but we recommend beginners take our Intro to Bouldering course for more information on gym etiquette, technique, and more!

  • Nope! Anytime the gym is open, you are welcome to drop in.

  • In addition to the climbing, we have a full fitness area equipped with a squat rack, dumbbells & kettlebells, cable machine, cardio equipment, and free fitness classes. We also have a yoga studio with free yoga classes every day of the week.

  • Yes! We allow climbing for kids ages 3 and up under a guardian's direct supervision. Climbers 14 and up are permitted to climb without a parent if they are respectful of our facility rules. We have tons of programs and activities for kids ages 3-18 and you can find more information about our youth programs here.

  • Parents or guests can belay children under the age of 18. This policy is not for adults wishing to belay friends or other adult climbers.

    Policy Terms:

    1. Parents/guests must complete a waiver, per normal Climbing Collective Policy.

    2. Parents/guests must be certified to belay via normal Climbing Collective procedures.

    3. Parents/guests must wear a wristband at all times which will be provided at the front desk.

    4. Parents/guests must have a credit card on file AND they must purchase a zero dollar “Belay Only Day Pass."

    5. If parents/guests are seen participating in climbing, using the fitness equipment, taking a class, enjoying the recovery room or other Climbing Collective services the front desk will charge the guest for a day pass. If a parent/guest does this a second time, they will be charged a guest pass fee and suspended from our “Belay Only” policy for one year. A third violation will result in a $25 day pass charge and permanent suspension from the Belay Only policy.

  • Yes, you get one free guest pass every month. Beyond that, you can earn free guest passes with our loyalty rewards program!

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and if you have valid reasons for missing a class, please communicate by emailing us at fdmanagers@climbingcollective.co. Your cooperation is valued in streamlining our class management processes.

This policy is relevant to yoga classes, fitness classes, and any classes marked as free or included in membership.
