Methodology means learning to teach. As a teacher, your will need to adjust your methods so that all types of students can learn and understand the practice of yoga. This requires excellent communication skills and the ability to address specific, individual needs within your group. We give you the freedom to teach and explore various types of yoga to find your most authentic teaching style.

• How to find your authentic teaching voice

• Class sequencing

• How to theme classes

• How to adjust for all levels

• How to create powerful beginnings and endings to your sequences

• Business and marketing skills needed to create classes for your unique audience

Shri School of Yoga requires graduates to deeply understand how the body works on all levels. In this aspect of the training, you will learn about the various systems of the body and how they intersect with the energetic levels to create a holistic experience of wellness.

All Shri School of Yoga trainees with study the 8 Limbs of Yoga and understand how to apply the guidance from this ancient tradition into their own lives. We encourage students to use this wisdom as a foundation to develop a teaching practice that is aligned with their own dharma or purpose. We will review and discuss yoga ethics as is applies to practice, teaching, business and life.
