Climbing Collective Team Wraps Up an Incredible Season
As the Climbing Collective Team season comes to a close, we’re reflecting on what has been an incredible journey for our Jr. Advanced, Advanced, and Competition Teams.
From first-time competitors taking the stage at our Heart of Stone and Longtucky Showdown competitions, to seasoned athletes representing us at USA Climbing regional and divisional events—this season was packed with growth, grit, and unforgettable memories.
Our Advanced and Competition Team climbers showed tremendous dedication, competing across the state with unwavering support from our passionate coaches. Many of our athletes advanced to regionals and divisionals in both bouldering and rope climbing, achieving personal bests and team milestones along the way.
But beyond the podiums and the progress, what makes our team special is the community, camaraderie, and lasting friendships that are built on and off the wall. These young climbers aren’t just athletes—they’re part of something bigger.
A huge shoutout to Head Coach Matt Sherman and our amazing coaching staff: Harley Parsons, Andy Hansen, Derek Oliphant, Lauren Jackson, and Anika Pivetta. Their knowledge, encouragement, and leadership have made all the difference this season.
