If you're planning a birthday party, team outing, or group celebration near Loveland, Climbing Collective offers a fun, active alternative to the usual event venue. With three Front Range locations in Loveland, Longmont, and Greeley, your group can climb, move, and connect in a welcoming environment supported by experienced staff.
What makes a great group event? Helpful coordination, clear options, and activities that keep people engaged. Climbing Collective helps with the logistics, provides rental gear, and makes sure waivers and forms are handled ahead of time so you can focus on the experience itself.
Private events and birthday parties can fill quickly, so it helps to know which option best fits your group. Here’s a closer look at the birthday party packages, custom group visits, and coach-led experiences available at each location.
Booking a Birthday Party at Climbing Collective
Which location is best for a birthday party?
Climbing Collective has three locations:
Longmont and Greeley offer rope climbing, auto-belay climbing, and bouldering. Loveland offers bouldering and auto-belays, but not roped climbing. All three locations offer 2-hour Rock’n Climbing Birthday Party packages, so the best fit depends on the type of climbing experience you want.
What to expect during the party
Each birthday party includes a designated Birthday Party Coach who helps guide the experience. At Longmont and Greeley, that can include rope climbing, auto-belay climbing, and bouldering. At Loveland, guests can enjoy bouldering and auto-belays with coaching and support throughout the event.
The coach helps guests get fitted with gear, shares climbing tips, and keeps the group engaged with climbing games. Birthday party pricing is based on up to 10 guests. At Loveland, the cost is $249 for up to 10 guests. At Longmont and Greeley, the price is $299 for up to 10 guests.
Each gym also offers comfortable seating areas with good sightlines into the climbing space, making it easier for parents and group organizers to relax while keeping an eye on the action. Birthday guests receive a coloring sheet, and the Longmont location also features a foosball table for parents or kids who would rather stay off the wall for part of the party.
Booking a Custom Group Visit
If you’re planning for a group of eight or more, a custom group visit may be the better fit. These visits are ideal for team outings, larger celebrations, or groups that want a flexible climbing experience with optional add-ons.
Longmont group visits
At Longmont, you can choose between a Bouldering group visit and an All-Climbing group visit.
Bouldering group visit: $21 per person for 2 hours, including access to boulders and auto-belays, rental gear, and a private climbing coach
All-Climbing group visit: $38 per person, including everything in the Bouldering package plus top-rope climbing
If you want a space to gather before or after climbing, you can add a semi-private lounge for $79 or a private party room with a refrigerator and microwave for $99.
Greeley group visits
At Greeley, group visit options are similar to Longmont, but Bouldering group visits do not include a climbing coach. Greeley also offers a few unique space add-ons, including:
A private rooftop patio for $150
An indoor party room rental for $99
That makes Greeley a strong option if your group wants a little more room to socialize beyond the climbing portion of the visit.
Loveland group visits
At Loveland, the only custom group visit option is Bouldering Group Visits, since the gym does not offer roped climbing. The cost is $16 per person for a 2-hour visit, including rental gear. A private coach is not included in this package.
If your group wants private instruction and Longmont is just as convenient, that location may be a better fit. Loveland does offer a private party room with a refrigerator and microwave for $49, which can still make it a practical and budget-friendly option.
If climbing isn’t the main draw for your group, or you want something more guided, a Custom Experience may be the better choice.
Booking a Customized Climbing, Yoga, or Fitness Experience
Climbing Collective also offers Custom Experiences for groups of six or more. These can focus on climbing, yoga, or fitness and are available at all locations. They’re especially useful for smaller groups, wellness-focused outings, or teams that want something more structured than open climbing time.
Pricing and group size
Climbing experiences: $25 per person, plus a $125 flat coach rate
Fitness and yoga experiences: $20 per person, plus a $125 flat coach rate
Climbing and fitness group size: 6–10 people
Private yoga group size: up to 15 people
Custom experience options
Learn to Climb or Boulder
This two-hour session includes a private instructor and lets your group choose between climbing fundamentals and bouldering techniques.
Belay Basics (Longmont and Greeley only)
This session covers the essentials of rope climbing safety and top-rope technique. Participants learn how to set up a belay device, tie in as the climber, check a partner’s setup, and move efficiently on the wall.
Private Fitness Classes
These 90-minute workouts are led by a certified trainer and combine weights, bodyweight exercises, and conditioning. If your group has a preferred training style or a specific focus area, you can mention that when booking.
Private Yoga Classes
Private yoga sessions last 90 minutes and are taught by a certified instructor. Because classes are easy to modify for different experience levels, this can be a strong option for larger groups with varied fitness backgrounds.
Add-ons for custom experiences
You can also add extra amenities to a custom experience, including:
A 2-hour private space rental for $99
A 2-hour semi-private space rental for $79
Discounted full rentals for $6 per person
A Belay Buddy for $40, which provides a certified designated belayer
