• I’m Shauna and I am originally from Rochester New York but have been calling Longmont my home since 1999. I first discovered yoga shortly after arriving in Colorado and began teaching in  2012. My journey has been one of continual discovery, finding countless ways to integrate the wisdom of yoga into my daily life. For me, time on the mat is more than just physical exercise; it is a preparation for embracing both the challenges and joys of life. From 2004 to 2015, I had the incredible opportunity to live as an expatriate in Japan and South Korea and to travel extensively through Thailand, India, and Laos. During these years, I was fortunate to share the beautiful practice of yoga in diverse and inspiring spaces around the world. I am one of the owners and the Director of Programs for the Climbing Collective. This community, which has flourished since its inception, is a source of great joy and pride for me. Additionally, I am one of three teachers at the Shri School of Yoga, the educational extension of Shri Yoga. Together, we conduct 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training programs regularly, fostering the next generation of yoga teachers and practitioners.

  • I'm Sirena and I am originally from the good ole' midwest of Mishawaka, Indiana. I've been practicing yoga since 1998 and teaching since 2016. I adore taking yoga training as I am first and foremost a student; certified in 500HR Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and lastly Kundalini in Fall 2024. I own Life Cycles Yoga which focuses on navigating the cycles of our lives through Yoga & Astrology. I love to interweave the movement of the cosmos into my classes. My classes are accessible, compassionate, and supportive. I teach class through a trauma sensitive lens and believe yoga is for everybody. In my classes you will be introduced to many of the limbs of yoga, honoring the ancient roots. My biggest pride and joy is to share this knowledge as a yoga teacher trainer for and a part of the Climbing Collective community!

  • Hi, my name is Meagan and I’m from Longmont—born and raised. I’ve been practicing yoga since approximately 2015, and teaching since 2018. I love the vastness of what a yoga practice can be, and in my classes you’ll find a lot of modifications, options, and suggestions to listen to your inner guide and choose your own adventure no matter your experience level. My hope is for everyone to find a way for their yoga practice to support them throughout their daily life - in times of joy and in times of struggle. I incorporate breathwork and mindful awareness in every class as I believe that these are crucial pieces to the yoga experience, and often what we take off the mat with us into the rest of our day. I am currently in nursing school so my free time is limited, but when I have the opportunity I love to get outside climbing, mountain biking, or anything else that’s “type 2” fun. I look forward to seeing you on your mat soon!

  • I’m Kylie and I am a transplant out of Monroe, Louisiana!

Yoga became a part of my life in 2002 and I followed the call to teach in 2014. I am a E-RYT 500hr Vinyasa instructor with additional training focused on biomechanics and mobility. My teaching style is energetic and playful and I love challenging my students to think outside of the box! I focus on the importance of movement patterns and the mindfulness around the transitions between poses as much as the poses themselves!

  • Hi, I’m Angela, I’m a military brat; so I’m from everywhere! Not quite a decade ago, as I neared my 40th birthday, I was looking for something new - that’s when I found yoga. I immediately fell in love. Not having an athletic background, I dismissed most physical activities as out of reach, but yoga taught me anything is possible. It helped me focus my mind and felt good in my body. After practicing for a few years, I wanted to deepen my yoga practice and completed my 200 hour YTT in 2019. Since then I’ve gravitated to Ashtanga and the progressive Ashtanga practice of Rocket. I’ve completed 180 hours of Rocket training and 25 hours of traditional Ashtanga training. I offer a playful and high energy vinyasa class that is influenced by Ashtanga and Rocket. I like to think of yoga as adult recess. It’s a time to let go and move your body in a playful way. It’s not about the postures your body can make; it’s about taking time for yourself to have fun. I offer suggestions, but you choose your own adventure!

  • Hi, I’m Amanda. I have been involved with yoga for sixteen years, becoming a teacher in 2008. I am well versed in many styles of yoga. Being certified in Thai Yoga and personal training I incorporate these into instruction. Training with Yoga-Fit in 2008 for a 200-HR certification I started this awesome journey and haven’t  looked back. Yoga is an outlet which allows me to spread laughter, love, peace and happiness to others. During any class expect to hear energetic flows with music to move your body and count on hands on assists throughout class.  In my free time, I spent many days above Longmont skydiving, working on her climbing, hiking, running with my incredible wonder dog Kevin and creating new adventures with my  amazing partner in crime Andrew!

  • Although I grew up in St. Charles, Missouri, Longmont has held my heart since 1999. My yoga journey began in 1997 with my first classes, and I started practicing regularly in 2011 while recovering from my first skateboarding-related surgery. I’ve been teaching yoga since 2019.

In addition to my 200-hour training, I have completed further education in Restorative Yoga, several courses with Yoga Detour, and additional studies in anatomy and physiology. My goal is to help students connect with their bodies, breath, and minds through movement and stillness, effort and ease.

I love breaking down complex movements into core elements and piecing them together like a puzzle. I strive to teach from an evidence-based perspective, grounded in the roots of yoga. You might also find me applying the physical and mental components of yoga on the climbing walls!

  • Hi, I’m Gina Matranga from Oak Park, Illinois. My yoga practice has deeply connected me to my body and heightened my awareness of how I move through the world. Growing up, I spent every summer from ages 8 to 22 at a camp in Wisconsin. Those experiences not only shaped who I am but also sparked my love for the natural world and outdoor adventures—especially climbing!

  • I’m Rosalie and I am a Colorado native. I have a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University, and have embarked on a journey of exploration and self-discovery that led me to the transformative practice of yoga.

My dedication to personal growth has taken me across the globe, where I volunteered in Thailand, and was immersed in yoga practices in ashrams across India. In 2013 I completed my 200-hour yoga certification from the esteemed Shambhava School of Yoga in Fort Collins, Colorado.

My classes center on gentleness and healing, specializing in Yoga Nidra, restorative yoga, Hatha and Yin. I offers a calm, yet energizing atmosphere that honors the power of physical asana and breath to gently transform your state of being. My classes offer a sanctuary for practitioners of all levels, encouraging them to explore their inner and outer worlds with mindfulness and grace. Through her teachings, she seeks to cultivate serenity amidst chaos, foster peace in everyday life, and nurture a profound sense of love and happiness, both on and off the mat.

  • Hi, I’m Frankie and I’m honored to be a substitute yoga instructor with Shri Yoga. My yoga practice began over a decade ago when I began taking online classes from my home in rural Pennsylvania. When I moved to Boulder in 2014, I was overjoyed to have so many studios and excellent teachers to learn from. As someone who was never considered athletic, yoga taught me that I’m much stronger than I ever thought I was, and it serves as a constant reminder that we can handle whatever life throws our way with ease and awareness. After more than a decade of practice, I obtained my 200 hour yoga teacher certification from Yoga Pod. I love creating dynamic, flowy sequences that allow students to leave the business of their everyday lives and fully immerse themselves in their whole body experience. When I’m not practicing yoga, you can find me combing through a thrift store, enjoying the sunshine at the farmers market, or cozying up with a new book.
